On March 25, at the annual meeting of the Boao Forum for Asia in 2026, Shen Dou, Executive Vice President of Baidu Group and President of Baidu Intelligent Cloud Business Group, said that there are currently bottlenecks to be broken through at the ontology, data, and model levels in embodied intelligence. China has the most complete supply chain system, the largest scale of engineering talent, the world's leading cost control capabilities, and abundant demand. In the future, costs will significantly decrease, making embodied intelligence a standard industrial product category. Shen Dou also mentioned that the cost of robots will decrease significantly in the future and may possibly be billed according to tokens.
