Copper prices fell in early Asian trading. The fluctuation in gold prices has spread to the metal industry, leading to a decline in the price of this base metal. An analyst at Nanhua Futures stated in a commentary that after a significant decline in recent times, investors are becoming more interested in buying on dips. However, they pointed out that due to overall low positions, copper prices are unlikely to rise significantly. The three-month copper futures contract on the London Metal Exchange fell by 1.05% to $12,039.00 per ton.
