Chen Lei, director of the Development Strategy and Planning Department of the National Development and Reform Commission, said at a press conference that during the 15th Five-Year Plan period, the capability of transmitting electricity from west to east will reach over 4.2 billion kilowatts, and by 2030, the proportion of non-fossil energy in the total energy consumption will reach 25%.
