Starbucks is planning to open at least 100 new stores in South Korea this year.

Starbucks Korea Company announced on Sunday that it expects to open at least 100 new stores in South Korea this year, continuing its steady expansion in the fourth largest economy in Asia. Starbucks entered the Korean market in 1999 and by the end of 2025, it will have 2,115 stores in South Korea, making it the third largest market for Starbucks in terms of store numbers after the United States and China. Starbucks currently has 2,105 stores in Japan.
