The General Office of the People's Government of Guizhou Province recently issued the "Several Policy Measures on Cultivating and Strengthening the Main Bodies of Operations." The measures propose promoting state-owned enterprises in the province to focus on their main businesses and optimize their layout. They aim to guide high-quality resources of state-owned enterprises in the province to concentrate on key areas such as the "six major industrial clusters," "three major characteristic industries," new productive forces, and major infrastructure, to consolidate and enhance their leading positions in the industry. In the field of liquor and others, the measures aim to cultivate world top 500 enterprises and promote the establishment of billion-dollar enterprise groups in industries such as energy, chemical industry, finance, and transportation. They continue to expand and strengthen billion-dollar enterprise groups in areas such as tourism, logistics, mineral resources, big data, and water conservancy, and promote the professional integration and unified operation of enterprises in the fields of civil aviation, railways, and shipping. By 2030, efforts will be made to form one world top 500 enterprise and five billion-dollar, one five-hundred-million-dollar, and seven hundred-million-dollar backbone enterprise fleets in the province.
