Recently, the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Natural Resources issued the "Implementation Plan to Strengthen the Development and Protection of Marine Resources and Promote High-Quality Development of the Marine Economy." It proposes that by 2030, a cumulative guaranteed area of more than 500,000 mu will be allocated for project development, the proportion of industrial projects using historically reclaimed sea areas will reach over 50%, and a cumulative restoration of 50 kilometers of shoreline and 15,000 mu of coastal wetlands will be achieved in marine ecological protection and restoration projects. The accuracy of storm surge and wave warnings will be increased to 86% and other measures will also be implemented. The plan will be implemented starting from March 15th.
