Currently, there has been a profound change in the consumption structure of Chinese residents, shifting from a focus on commodity consumption to a balance between commodity and service consumption. Services such as culture, tourism, sports, and exhibitions are becoming the main battleground for unleashing the potential of domestic demand. Over the past year, interest in cultural and sports events has been increasing, with entertainment markets booming and tickets in high demand. The new trend is to "visit a city for an event" and "explore a street for an exhibition". The integration of culture and commerce, and the empowerment of various industries through culture, are accelerating the release of development potential. By 2025, the national cultural services industry with a scale above a certain level is expected to achieve operating income of 8.58 trillion yuan, an increase of 12.0% compared to the previous year. To promote better integration of culture, commerce, tourism, and exhibitions, the key lies in breaking through in the aspect of "integration". Integration is not simply a matter of combining different industries, but enabling them to empower each other. From extending the flow of the Shanghai F1 Grand Prix track to urban areas, to linking tickets from the Beijing International Film Festival with shopping districts, cultural consumption is becoming a significant lever for stimulating overall urban consumption. To transform this lever into sustainable development momentum, it is crucial to promote integration from a superficial level to a deeper and more meaningful level. It is important to continuously create immersive integration scenarios, encourage museums, sports venues, exhibition centers, and commercial complexes to interweave and complement each other, and develop theme product lines such as "follow the event for travel" and "follow the exhibition for shopping", effectively converting the traffic dividend into systematic consumption growth.
