On the morning of January 25, the 16th Beijing Municipal People's Congress held its fourth session, with Mayor Yin Yong giving a government work report. The report proposed speeding up the construction of a global benchmark city for the digital economy and fully implementing the "AI+" action. Regarding how to support the development of Beijing's artificial intelligence industry in the next step, Lin Jianhua, the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Beijing Development and Reform Commission, stated that Beijing has the most complete talent chain, industry chain, and platform foundation in the country. The government will focus on key areas such as computing power infrastructure, autonomous software ecology, and the evolution and application of large model technology to continue promoting AI development. "AI applications are not only a path for commercial implementation, but the application process can also generate high-quality data, which in turn supports the iteration of artificial intelligence technology."
