Hubei's annual transportation investment exceeds 200 billion yuan for the first time
The Hubei Provincial Transportation Work Conference held on January 24 revealed that by 2025, Hubei will complete transportation investment of 2036.9 billion yuan, with annual investment exceeding 200 billion yuan for the first time, and by 2026, the province plans to complete transportation investment of about 210 billion yuan. During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, the province's comprehensive transportation fixed asset investment has accumulated to over 1 trillion yuan. In 2025, Hubei will focus on promoting 16 national expressway expansion projects such as Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao, Shanghai-Chongqing, Fuyin, and Er'guang, and all 7 national expressway main channels connecting the "Golden Triangle" of Wuhan, Xiangyang, and Yichang have started construction. The province is currently building 9 Yangtze River bridges on its expressways, with a total investment of 154 billion yuan, reaching a record high in construction scale. Currently, the total length of expressways in the province has reached 8488 kilometers, with completed mileage exceeding 50% of the "14th Five-Year Plan" target.
