Our country's research team has directly confirmed the Mescah effect predicted by quantum mechanics for the first time.

Reporters learned from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences that recently, the research team of the university, in collaboration with several other universities, for the first time directly observed the Migdal effect predicted by quantum mechanics. This discovery provides a key support for breaking through the threshold bottleneck of light dark matter detection. The related results were published in the international academic journal Nature on January 15th.
