Liao Min meets with former Canadian Prime Minister Cretien

On January 8, Vice Minister of Finance Liao Min met with former Canadian Prime Minister Chrtien in Beijing to exchange views on China-Canada relations, economic and trade relations, and bilateral investment between China and Canada. Liao Min stated that Mr. Chrtien is an old friend of the Chinese people who has made positive contributions to the development of China-Canada relations. In October last year, President Xi Jinping successfully met with Prime Minister Trudeau in South Korea, opening a new chapter in China-Canada relations.
