Specifically, the factory price of "Maotai Fine Wine" is planned to be reduced from 2969 yuan to 1859 yuan, and the retail price from 3299 yuan to 2299 yuan; the factory price of "Maotai 15 Years" is proposed to be reduced from 5399 yuan to 3409 yuan, and the retail price from 5999 yuan to 4199 yuan. It is worth noting that the last time Maotai adjusted the factory prices of its products was in 2023. At that time, Maotai officially announced a 53%vol increase in the factory price of Guizhou Maotai liquor, with an average increase of about 20%. Chinese wine industry commentator Xiao Zhuqing analyzed that with the adjustment in Maotai's prices, it has expanded the target market and consumption scenarios for Maotai liquor, allowing previously unaffordable small and medium-sized business owners, individual entrepreneurs, and middle-class families to become new "Maotai fans", significantly increasing the opening rate of Maotai bottles.
