Several major Australian airlines announced on the 21st that they will gradually ban the use of power banks or charging power banks on flights next month to reduce the risk of cabin fires. These safety measures will apply to all domestic and international flights, and no exemptions will be granted. According to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation on the 21st, Qantas Airways and its subsidiary QantasLink, as well as Jetstar Airways, announced that the ban will be implemented from December 15, while Virgin Australia's ban will take effect from December 1.
