On November 21st, Zhang Jianzhong, the founder, chairman, and general manager of Moore Threads, stated at the online investor communication meeting of Moore Threads' initial public offering of stocks and listing on the Science and Technology Innovation Board that with the rapid expansion of the downstream AI application market in China, there is an explosive growth in the market demand for AI computing acceleration chips, attracting various chip manufacturers to join. Zhang Jianzhong mentioned that currently, GPUs are still the dominant chips in the AI market. However, other types of chips represented by ASIC and FPGA have also been commercialized and have captured a certain proportion in the market. Zhang Jianzhong further expressed that in the future, with continuous technological breakthroughs by Chinese GPU companies, the market size of AI computing acceleration chips is expected to achieve rapid growth.
