The 2025 Guangzhou Auto Show opened with a speech by Li Xiaoshuang, Vice President of Xiaomi Automotive, at the Xiaomi Automotive press conference. Li Xiaoshuang emphasized that safety is a prerequisite, safety is the foundation, and safety is everything. Xiaomi's safety assistance system aims to cover more directions, wider speed ranges, more targets, and more scenarios. He introduced that Xiaomi's HAD Enhanced version of AEB has been upgraded comprehensively, with the forward speed range of AEB expanded from 5-135km/h to 1-135km/h, and a new backward speed range of 1-30km/h has been added. In addition, they have launched AES emergency steering assistance, which allows for avoidance when recognizing a collision risk ahead that cannot be effectively avoided or reduced by AEB. AES supports a working speed range of 80-135km/h and can perform a maximum of 2 consecutive steering maneuvers. He revealed that vehicles equipped with Xiaomi's HAD Enhanced version support a maximum of 20 safety assistance functions, and he also emphasized that assisted driving is not autonomous driving, and drivers still need to remain focused at all times.
