India launches anti-dumping investigation on PET spun yarn from China.

On November 20th, the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced that they will initiate an anti-dumping investigation on polyester filament yarn originating from or imported from China, in response to applications submitted by Indian companies Reliance Industries Limited and Wellknow Polyester Limited. The products in question fall under the Indian customs code 54023300. The dumping investigation period will be from April 1st, 2024 to June 30th, 2025, and the injury investigation periods will be from 2021 to 2022, 2022 to 2023, 2023 to 2024, and April 1st, 2024 to June 30th, 2025.
