Household appliance recycled materials new national standard is coming clarifying the calculation method for usage rate.

Reporters learned today that the State Administration for Market Regulation has approved the release of the national standard "Specifications for the Use of Recycled Materials in Household Appliances." The standard will officially take effect on May 1, 2026. By specifying the selection, process control, traceability management requirements, and calculation methods for the utilization rate of recycled materials, this standard will regulate the application of recycled materials in household appliances and promote the green and low-carbon development of the industry.
