The Taiwan Affairs Office introduces recent film and television exchange activities between both sides of the Taiwan Strait.

During the 2025 Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival, a series of film exchanges between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait were successfully held. First, more than 50 well-known Taiwanese film actors participated in the activities, and 15 Taiwan films such as "Warriors of the Rainbow: Seediq Bale" and "Cities of Last Things" were exhibited; second, the 6th Cross-Strait and Hong Kong-Macau Youth Short Film Festival collected 144 outstanding short films from Taiwan, creating a platform for exchanges and discussions for young filmmakers from both sides; third, the Golden Rooster Promotion Taiwan Special event highlighted 9 Taiwan film projects and 5 literary IP; fourth, the "Xia Jin Light and Shadow Passage" series of activities were carried out for the first time, with more than 3,000 Taiwan compatriots participating in the Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival through convenient channels Life Season discount activities and the cinema live broadcast of the Golden Rooster Awards Ceremony. On November 13, the Taiwan Affairs Office of Yunnan Province supported cross-strait industry players to jointly create and release two micro dramas, "Mountain Sea Heart Language Flower Fragrance on Both Sides" and "Sure Enough There You Are". These two micro dramas were performed by Taiwanese farmers and businessmen, telling the story of Taiwanese farmers and businessmen rooting in Yunnan and realizing their dreams, reflecting the new results of cross-strait film and television cooperation and media integration. We believe that after watching, more Taiwanese compatriots will visit Yunnan to admire the flowers, taste the fruits, and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
