Foshan's new policy: Foreigners can apply for housing provident fund loans to purchase property.

On November 19th, the Foshan Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau and eight other departments issued a notice on "Several Measures to Further Promote the Stable and Healthy Development of the Real Estate Market". Among them, in terms of increasing support for housing provident fund loans for home purchases, it was proposed that foreign nationals who meet the conditions for provident fund loans can apply for housing provident fund loans in Foshan for home purchases. The new policy also proposes that overseas individuals can easily purchase homes in Foshan by providing a written commitment to use and live in the property if they work or study in the country.
