On the morning of November 19th, the Taiwan Affairs Office held a routine press conference. Reporter: Please introduce recent cross-strait economic and trade, cultural exchange activities. Spokesperson for the Taiwan Affairs Office Zhu Fenglian: In terms of economic and trade exchanges, from November 10th to 14th, the 21st Guangxi-Taiwan Economic and Trade Cultural Cooperation Forum was held in Nanning, Guangxi Autonomous Region. The forum focused on "Sharing New Opportunities in the AI Era, Promoting New Development in Guangxi-Taiwan Cooperation", deepening the integration and development of the AI industry empowerment and industry scenario applications in Guangxi-Taiwan. From November 17th to 20th, the "Development and Integration - Leading Taiwan Enterprises Visit Longyan" event was held in Longyan, Fujian. Nearly 80 Taiwanese-funded enterprises gathered in Longyan, focusing on industry docking in machinery manufacturing, electronics information, agricultural product processing, and other areas to share new opportunities for economic and trade cooperation. In terms of cultural exchanges, on November 4th, the "Memories of Migration to Taiwan in 2025" event was held in Zhangzhou, Fujian. More than 100 compatriots from both sides of the strait gathered to trace their roots and memories, sharing family ties and national heritage. The book "The Stories Behind the 'Memories of Migration to Taiwan'" was launched during the event. From November 18th to 27th, the overseas Taiwanese Jiangsu tour event was held in Jiangsu. Dozens of Taiwanese Americans visited Nanjing and other places for economic and trade surveys and cultural exchanges, paying respects to the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, visiting the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, and donating the book "The Nanjing Massacre" written by American-Chinese author Yin Jijun to the Memorial Hall of the Victims in Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders, to promote the remembrance of history, honoring the martyrs, cherishing peace, and creating the future together among compatriots at home and abroad.
