UnionPay: The next generation of new intelligent terminals development has reserved the iTAP route.

Recently, the person in charge of China UnionPay attended the "iTAP SUMMIT 2025 - Instant Access, Leading the Future" meeting and pointed out that in the next generation of new intelligent terminal research and development technology route, UnionPay has already reserved the iTAP route. The new terminals to be launched in the future will all be included in the iTAP protocol support services. Existing terminals will also be updated and upgraded accordingly, and UnionPay will promote the integration of global payment applications with the iTAP protocol overseas. It is reported that UnionPay has promoted UnionPay card issuance and acceptance of payment applications in 183 countries worldwide, issuing nearly 9.1 billion UnionPay cards.
