UBS Investment pointed out in its 2026 outlook report that it is expected that the Chinese stock market will welcome another fruitful year, as many favorable driving factors including the development in innovative fields will continue to support the market. The year-end target for the MSCI China Index is set at 100, with a potential upside of 14% from the current level. It is expected that the stock price performance in 2026 will be more profit-driven. Earnings per share are projected to grow by 10% in 2026, driven by measures against overwork and a decrease in depreciation and amortization expenses. It is optimistic about the internet, hardware technology, and securities firms, while removing high-dividend stocks due to their lowered yields. With the improvement in global growth next year, it is also bullish on certain "going global" stocks.
