Hunan province issues a three-year action plan for the agricultural machinery and equipment industry, aiming to create a national highland for the development of intelligent agricultural machinery industry chain.

Recently, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Hunan Province, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the Province, the Department of Science and Technology of the Province, and the Department of Finance of the Province jointly issued the "Three-Year Action Plan for the High-Quality Development of the Agricultural Machinery Equipment Industry in Hunan Province," clearly focusing on key directions such as applicable agricultural machinery in hilly areas, large-scale high-end intelligent agricultural machinery, and key core components, promoting the intelligent, green and clustered development of the agricultural machinery industry in the province, striving to build a highland for the development of the intelligent agricultural machinery industry chain with significant national influence by 2027. The plan proposes that by 2027, the operating income of industrial enterprises above a certain scale in the province's agricultural machinery equipment industry will exceed 20 billion yuan, with an average annual growth rate of over 10%, and the proportion of intelligent agricultural machinery will exceed 60%. The comprehensive mechanization rate of crop production will exceed 65%, with rice and rapeseed planting and harvesting mechanization rates reaching over 90% and 75% respectively, and the mechanization rate of facility planting, livestock and poultry, and aquaculture will all exceed 50%.
