The State Post Bureau released the "October 2025 China Express Development Index Report", which pointed out that in October, the development scale index was 616.4, an increase of 5.6% year-on-year. According to sub-indicators, it is expected that the express business volume in October will increase by about 7% year-on-year, and business revenue will increase by about 5% year-on-year. In October, the express delivery industry gradually entered its peak season, with business volume steadily increasing. In the first ten days, express delivery companies actively expanded service space to meet the demand for special products and fresh deliveries during the holiday period. During the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holidays, a total of 7.231 billion parcels were processed, with an average daily processing volume exceeding 900 million. In the middle and late ten days, express delivery companies deepened their cooperation with e-commerce for coordinated development, strengthened the application of automation, unmanned, and intelligent equipment, improved processing efficiency, and provided strong support for major e-commerce promotions, with an average daily express business volume reaching around 600 million parcels.
