On November 9th, the first Chinese Robot Debate Competition final was held in Beijing's Yizhuang area. The participating robot debaters conducted independent debates with each other, showcasing the latest achievements of robots in cognitive decision-making and large-scale model applications. A total of 14 teams from schools and companies from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Tianjin and other parts of the country participated in the competition. Different from the preliminaries and semifinals, which involved human-machine interaction and "man vs. machine" battles, the difficulty level of the final was increased by adopting a "machine vs. machine" format, in which each team's robot debaters conducted independent debates against each other, enhancing the spectacle for the audience who could witness a purer form of intellectual competition. The judges did not judge the debate based on wins or losses, but instead scored the robots on logic, language expression, multi-modal interaction, skill demonstration, and improvisation. After intense competition, the Songyan Dynamics-Xiaonuo team won the championship, while the Hubei University team and the Songyan Dynamics-Songmeimei team won second and third place respectively.
