Amazon founder Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin company plans to launch its "New Glenn" rocket from Cape Canaveral in Florida on Sunday local time. This is a key test for the company to challenge Elon Musk's SpaceX. The rocket will carry two spacecraft manufactured by Rocket Lab to Mars to study how solar wind interacts with the Martian atmosphere. This mission, named "Escape Maneuver," is the first mission performed by the New Glenn rocket for NASA. If this launch is successful, Blue Origin will have the opportunity to challenge SpaceX's dominant position in the launch industry.
