China Central Radio and Television General Station and the International Olympic Committee successfully signed a long-term agreement for the broadcasting rights of the 2026-2032 Olympic Games in Guangzhou. Shen Haixiong, the director of CCTV, and Thomas Bach, the president of the International Olympic Committee, signed on behalf of both parties. In the upcoming two Winter Olympics and two Summer Olympics, CCTV will officially become the exclusive Olympic broadcast institution for mainland China and Macao in the new cycle. The broadcasting logo for the 2026 Milan Winter Olympics by China Central Radio and Television General Station was also unveiled on the same day.
