Turkish President supports dialogue between Pakistan and Afghanistan, calls for maintaining ceasefire gains.

On November 8th, local time, Turkish President Erdogan met with Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif in the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku. Erdogan stated that Turkey is deeply concerned about the series of attacks in Pakistan and the escalating tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan. Erdogan said that maintaining the continuity of the ceasefire agreement between the two sides is crucial for regional peace. Turkey is willing to continue to support the dialogue process facilitated by Turkey among the relevant parties and promote long-term stability in the region.
