Our country's data infrastructure is taking shape: the first batch of 18 city nodes have been connected, incubating hundreds of business scenarios.
Reporters learned from the National Bureau of Statistics that the first batch of pilot projects for the construction of national data infrastructure has achieved positive results, with 18 city data infrastructure nodes already built. It is explained that the first batch of pilot projects for the construction of national data infrastructure was launched last year and has now completed its phase construction tasks: establishing 18 city data infrastructure nodes such as Beijing and Nanjing, achieving interconnection between facilities, incubating hundreds of business scenarios, and bringing together over 3,900 entities such as data developers and data exchanges, providing over 13,000 data products. A relevant official from the National Bureau of Statistics stated that moving forward, they will continuously deepen the supply of scenarios, prioritize the layout of new data field scenarios, high-value niche scenarios, and comprehensive scenarios across regions and domains; closely follow the needs of the development of the artificial intelligence industry, strive to advance technology research in high-speed data transmission networks, dense computation, intelligent retrieval, etc.; and systematically promote the deployment and application of data infrastructure on a larger scale.
