The 8th CIIE is the first CIIE after China expanded zero tariffs to 53 African countries that have established diplomatic relations. The number of African companies participating in this CIIE has increased by 80% compared to last year. China not only provides tariff preferential treatment to Africa, but also expands the exhibition booths specifically for African countries. Nigerian and Ethiopian exhibitors expressed their gratitude to China in interviews, stating that China has indeed created job opportunities for them.
