General Secretary of the Communist Party of China and President Xi Jinping, during his inspection in Guangdong, emphasized that Guangdong is the pioneer, front-runner, and experimental zone of reform and opening up. He called for a thorough study, publicity, and implementation of the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, scientific planning of goals, tasks, and measures for the next five years, promoting high-quality development through comprehensive deepening of reform and opening up, promoting the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and promoting the comprehensive and strict governance of the party to continuously achieve new results in modernization. On November 7th to 8th, Xi Jinping, accompanied by member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Party Secretary of Guangdong Province, Huang Kunming, and Governor Meng Fanli, respectively, inspected and conducted research in Meizhou and Guangzhou.
