12.11 billion US dollars, China Eastern Airlines signs the first order from a central state-owned enterprise at the eighth CIIE.

At the centralized signing ceremony of the central enterprise delegation at the 8th China International Import Expo, China Eastern Airlines signed a total of 19 procurement agreements with 15 suppliers from 9 countries and regions, with a total amount of 1.211 billion US dollars. Among them, the transaction amount for one-year exhibition booths reached 330 million US dollars, an increase of 23.3% compared to last year, reaching the highest level of one-year exhibition booth transactions in the history of the Import Expo of China Eastern Airlines. The procurement categories cover six major categories including aircraft engines, APU package repairs, airline meals, aviation materials, aviation fuel, and automobile chassis, with products sourced from 9 countries and regions including the United States, Germany, France, Switzerland, Sweden, Japan, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, and China, Hong Kong. This includes the signing of a 615 million US dollars LEAP-1A engine procurement agreement with CFM International, as well as multiple aircraft materials procurement and repair agreements with Lufthansa Technik, Safran Group, Idemitsu Kosan, and aviation fuel procurement agreements.
