Shipping group Maersk reported on Thursday that its operating profit for the third quarter exceeded expectations and raised the lower end of its full-year profit forecast. Maersk stated that EBITDA for the third quarter decreased 44% year-on-year to $2.69 billion, exceeding analysts' expectations of $2.58 billion previously collected by the company.
