Promote the Standardization of the Application of "Artificial Intelligence + Medical Health" - Five Departments Issue Implementation Opinions.

The National Health Commission, together with the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the National Health Commission, issued the "Implementation Opinions on Promoting and Regulating the Development of 'Artificial Intelligence + Medical Health' Applications" today. The "Implementation Opinions" are divided into five parts. The first part is the overall requirements, proposing the guiding ideology for the development of "Artificial Intelligence + Medical Health" applications, based on the basic construction of artificial intelligence applications in the medical and health fields in various regions, the progress of applications, and the development needs of the business, determining the main development goals for 2027 and 2030. The second part is to deepen key applications, mainly including eight directions and 24 key applications in primary application, clinical diagnosis and treatment, patient services, traditional Chinese medicine, public health, scientific research and teaching, industry governance, and health industry. The third part is to consolidate the application foundation, proposing content in five aspects: strengthening infrastructure construction, enriching medical data supply, optimizing artificial intelligence computing power algorithms, strengthening pilot base construction, and strengthening support for technology talents and standards. The fourth part is to regulate safety supervision, proposing content in three aspects: optimizing industry management and review systems, innovating supervision methods and early warning mechanisms, and strengthening data security and personal privacy protection. The fifth part is to strengthen organizational support, emphasizing institution building, strengthening pilot demonstrations, and enhancing cooperation in publicity, promoting win-win cooperation in artificial intelligence, promoting kindness in intelligence, universal technology, and sharing results.
