The water level of Xiaolangdi Reservoir has reached 270.2 meters, setting a new high for the same period in history.
On October 31st, the water level of the main stream of the Yellow River reached 270.20 meters at the Xiaolangdi Reservoir, the highest level for the same period in history, laying a solid foundation for drought resistance and water supply in the coming winter and spring. From July to October this year, the total inflow of water in the main water supply area of the Yellow River was about 267.78 billion cubic meters, which was basically the same as usual. However, the water supply in the upper reaches of the Yellow River was 21% less than usual, while the water supply in the middle reaches was 35% more than usual. According to long-term runoff forecasts from the hydrological department, from November 2025 to June 2026, the water supply in the main water supply area of the Yellow River will continue to show a trend of less water in the Tangnaihai area and more water in the middle reaches.
