Hong Kong Tourism Board: Nearly 16.08 million visitors to Hong Kong in the first four months, a 10% increase year-on-year.

From January to April this year, a total of 16.076 million passengers visited Hong Kong, an increase of 10% compared to the same period last year.
The Hong Kong Tourism Board announced that the preliminary number of visitors to Hong Kong in April this year was 3.878 million, a 13% increase from the same period last year. Among them, the number of visitors from mainland China and non-mainland China increased by 13% and 14% respectively, reaching 2.814 million and 1.034 million respectively. The number of visitors from short-haul and long-haul markets both recorded double-digit year-on-year growth, reaching 10% and 17% respectively. From January to April this year, a total of 16.076 million visitors visited Hong Kong, an increase of 10% compared to the same period last year. The Hong Kong Tourism Board stated that the growth momentum from multiple source markets continues, with the number of visitors from Taiwan Province of China, Japan, South Korea, the Philippines, and Indonesia increasing by over 20% compared to the same period last year; visitors from Australia recorded a significant increase of over 30%.
