IonQ's board of directors introduces the "Father of the Space Force" in the United States to accelerate the expansion of government and defense sector cooperation.

According to the Wise Finance APP, quantum computing company IonQ (IONQ.US) announced on Monday that it has appointed John Raymond, widely known as the "father of the Space Force," to join its board of directors. It is reported that John Raymond served in the US military for nearly 40 years, holding leadership positions in various levels in nuclear energy, space, the Air Force, and cyber operations. Currently, he is the Managing Director of Cerberus Capital Management. He was appointed by former President Trump to become the first Chief of Space Operations of the US Space Force and its founding member. As of the time of publication, IonQ's stock rose over 2% in pre-market trading on Monday.
