Aiming for a 700 billion yuan output value, Shenzhen's 12 new policies are driving the upgrade of traditional industries.
On the morning of September 29, the Shenzhen Municipal Government Information Office held a press conference on "Promoting Traditional Industries towards 'New' and 'Smart' to Accelerate the Construction of a Modern Industrial System." Deputy Director Ping Yuan of the Shenzhen Industrial and Information Technology Bureau introduced the background, highlights, achievements, and main measures of Shenzhen's promotion of the optimization and upgrading of traditional industries. He, along with Deputy Director Zhou Mingwu of the Municipal Commerce Bureau, Deputy Director Li Jun of the Municipal Market Supervision Bureau, Deputy District Mayor Shi Dongxin of Luohu District, and Deputy District Mayor Zhao Yanyan of Longhua District, answered questions from reporters on relevant issues. Ping Yuan stated that in the future, Shenzhen will fully leverage its advantages in innovative resources, diverse industrial categories, and wide application scenarios by deepening technological empowerment, ecological co-construction, and innovative models to actively explore new pathways for the optimization and upgrading of traditional industries. Shenzhen will introduce 12 policy measures with unprecedented support in areas such as industrial policy, fund empowerment, core technology development, artificial intelligence integration, special funding support, and branding and promotion. Shenzhen will implement the "Action Plan to Accelerate the Development of Artificial Intelligence Terminal Industry in Shenzhen" to promote the comprehensive integration of artificial intelligence technology into home, household appliances, fitness equipment, eyewear, watches, and toys. Additionally, Shenzhen will vigorously implement special support plans for the digital transformation of traditional advantageous industries and small and medium digital service providers, aiming to promote 100 traditional industrial enterprises to achieve digital transformation within three years. Moreover, through the implementation of "Several Measures to Build First-Class Quality Brand Services for the Development of the Real Economy in Shenzhen," traditional manufacturing enterprises are encouraged to integrate and develop with new-generation information technology, high-performance materials, national trend IP, etc., striving to cultivate and create over 100 cross-border fusion fashion new products and popular national trend products by 2027.
