Shanghai: Support commercial brands to expand into international markets, promote the implementation of cross-border merger and acquisition projects for commercial brand companies.
On September 29th, the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce and other 7 departments issued the "Action Plan for Strengthening the Construction of Shanghai Commercial Brand", which proposes to support commercial brands in expanding into international markets. This includes supporting commercial brands to participate in overseas international exhibitions, creating high-quality exhibition halls, and conveying an international image of the brand. Additionally, it supports the international chain operation of commercial brands, opening flagship stores and brand stores overseas. It also supports commercial brand enterprises in mergers and acquisitions of high-quality brand assets, accelerating the extension of the international industrial chain supply chain. Furthermore, in conjunction with Shanghai's overseas investment-related service mechanisms, it promotes the implementation of cross-border mergers and acquisitions projects for commercial brand enterprises. It also encourages the use of free trade accounts, cross-border funding pools, and cross-border financing products to facilitate cross-border investment and financing activities and fund management for commercial brand enterprises. It provides convenience for the entry and exit of management personnel of commercial brand enterprises and supports the application for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Business Travel Card.
