In the first seven months of the year, the premium income of the insurance industry in Beijing reached 257.5 billion yuan, an increase of 7.07% year-on-year.

On September 29, the Beijing Financial Supervision Bureau released the operating situation of the Beijing insurance industry from January to July 2025. The data shows that in the first seven months of this year, the original insurance premium income of the Beijing insurance industry was 257.5 billion yuan, an increase of 7.07% year-on-year under comparable caliber. Among them, the original property insurance premium income was 36.8 billion yuan, an increase of 13.23% year-on-year; the original life insurance premium income was 220.7 billion yuan, an increase of 6.11% year-on-year. In the first seven months of this year, the original insurance claim payments of the Beijing insurance industry were 72.2 billion yuan, an increase of 11.08% year-on-year.
