India issues final anti-dumping ruling on hydroquinone from China.

According to the China Trade Remedy Information Network, on September 24th, the Department of Commerce and Industry of India issued a notice, affirming anti-dumping in the final ruling on hydroquinone originating from or imported from China and Japan, and proposed a five-year anti-dumping tax on the products involved in the above-mentioned countries. The tax amount is the difference between the import goods declared value and the lowest price, as follows: the lowest price of hydroquinone produced by Zhejiang Hongsheng Chemical Co., Ltd. and other Chinese producers involved is $6244 per ton, and the lowest price of hydroquinone produced by Sumitomo Chemical Co., Ltd. and other Japanese producers involved is $6244 per ton. This case involves products under Indian customs code 29072100.
