"Winning a hundred battles, launching the Long March 2D carrier rocket successfully for the 100th time"

On September 29, 2025, at 11 o'clock Beijing time, China successfully launched the experimental satellites 30-01 and 30-02 into orbit using the Long March-2D carrier rocket at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center. The satellites entered their designated orbit smoothly, and the launch mission was a complete success. The main purpose of these satellites is to conduct technical experiments and verification for Earth observation. This mission marked the 598th flight of the Long March series of carrier rockets. The Long March-2D carrier rocket, known as China's "Gold Medal Rocket," completed its 100th launch with this mission, making it the second type of carrier rocket in China to reach this milestone, with a perfect record of success, creating another new record in China's carrier rocket history.
