The China Household Electrical Appliances Association has issued an initiative to strengthen self-discipline and fair competition in the household appliance industry: 1. Adhere to the principles of fair competition, mutual respect, collaborative sharing, and high-quality development, jointly create a market environment of fair competition and promote the healthy development of the household appliance industry; 2. Build outstanding technological innovation capabilities, respect intellectual property rights, and lead industry development with technological innovation; 3. Focus on user needs, strictly control product quality standards, and ensure the supply of high-quality products; 4. Comprehensive strengthening of pre-sales consultation, installation during sales, and after-sales maintenance services to provide consumers with quality services; 5. Strict implementation of the "Regulations on the Payment of Funds to Guarantee Small and Medium-sized Enterprises", and build an industrial ecosystem of "division of labor, cooperation, and mutual benefit". At the same time, resolutely oppose all forms of unfair competition. 1. Strictly abide by the bottom line of competition, eliminate disorderly low-price competition, and resolutely avoid selling below cost; 2. Oppose exaggeration and false advertising, belittling competitors and misleading consumers on the internet. 3. Oppose all counterfeit and shoddy behaviors, and oppose profiting from "riding on the coattails of famous brands"; 4. Prohibit unpaid and excessive overtime work, and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of employees.
