State Grid Corporation of China announced on the 28th that the second phase expansion project of the Qinghai-Tibet DC transmission has been officially put into operation, which can double the transmission capacity between Qinghai and Tibet to 1.2 million kilowatts. This is of great significance for improving the power supply guarantee capacity in Tibet, promoting the large-scale optimization of clean energy allocation, and serving the construction of a new type of power system.
