Lin Wumin, former party member and deputy director of the People's Congress Standing Committee of Guilin, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, has been expelled from the party and removed from public office.
According to the news from the Discipline Inspection Commission of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, with the approval of the Party Committee of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the Discipline Inspection Commission of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region launched an investigation into the serious violations of discipline and law by Lin Wumin, former Party member and deputy director of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress in Guilin.
After investigation, it was found that Lin Wumin had lost his ideals and beliefs, betrayed his original mission, disregarded the spirit of the central eight-point regulations, accepted banquets and travel arrangements that could affect the fair execution of official duties; violated organizational principles by concealing personal matters; failed to maintain integrity by accepting gifts and money that could affect the fair execution of official duties, engaging in profit-making activities in violation of regulations; indulged in personal desires, engaged in power-money transactions, and used his position to benefit others in project contracting, fund disbursement, land transfer, etc., illegally accepting large sums of money and goods. Lin Wumin's serious violations of the Party's organizational discipline and integrity discipline constitute serious violations of official duties and suspicions of bribery crimes, and his failure to control himself and his actions after the 18th Party Congress, with serious and detrimental effects, warrants serious consequences.
In accordance with relevant regulations such as the "Disciplinary Regulations of the Communist Party of China," the "Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China," and the "Administrative Punishments of Public Officials of the People's Republic of China," after deliberation and approval by the Standing Committee of the Autonomous Region Discipline Inspection Commission and reporting to the Party Committee of the Autonomous Region, it was decided to expel Lin Wumin from the Party, dismiss him from his public office, revoke his qualification as a representative of the Sixth Party Congress in Guilin, confiscate his illegally obtained gains, transfer his suspected criminal issues to the procuratorial authority for investigation and prosecution, and transfer all relevant property.
