On September 27th, an insider revealed to reporters that not only did the business at the Wahaha Shanghai factory undergo changes, but also the bottled water business of Zhejiang Wahaha Drinking Water Co., Ltd. The reporter also confirmed the above information from two other insiders. The insiders disclosed that by the end of 2024, Wahaha Group Chairman Zong Fuli requested the transfer of the bottled water sales business of Zhejiang Wahaha Drinking Water Co., Ltd. to Hangzhou Xun'er City Tong Trading Co., Ltd., with the plan officially implemented on March 25, 2025. In April 2025, without signing any purchase and sale agreements with distributors, the distributors were required to place orders with Hangzhou Xun'er City Tong Trading Co., Ltd., which resulted in shipments, invoicing, and the completion of substantial business transfers. The insiders pointed out that starting from April 2025, Zhejiang Wahaha Drinking Water Co., Ltd. no longer has the sales operation rights for bottled water, but has become a contract manufacturer for Hangzhou Xun'er City Tong Trading Co., Ltd. and the company reduced the settlement price, providing a processing fee of 2.75 yuan per barrel to the bottled water company, resulting in a significant decline in the profits of Zhejiang Wahaha Drinking Water Co., Ltd.
