India initiates anti-dumping investigation on textile imports from China.

According to China Trade Remedy Information Network, on September 27, the Department of Commerce and Industry of India issued a notice stating that, in response to applications submitted by Indian companies, an anti-dumping investigation has been initiated on conveyor belt fabrics originating from or imported from China with a polyester fiber or nylon content of 80% or more. The products involved are also known as rubberized textiles or conveyor belt fabrics, and fall under Indian customs code 59069990. This investigation does not include lining fabrics. The dumping investigation period for this case is from April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025, and the injury investigation periods are from 2021 to 2022, 2022 to 2023, 2023 to 2024, and April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025.
