On September 28th, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) held its regular press conference in Beijing. Wang Guannan, the spokesperson for CCPIT, stated at the conference that in recent years, with China actively promoting high-level institutionalized opening-up and accelerating the establishment of a new development pattern of "dual circulation," international cooperation in the industrial chain and supply chain has continued to deepen. Chinese enterprises have stronger international competitiveness, broader international perspectives, and a greater willingness to expand overseas. "Against the backdrop of profound changes in the current international economic cooperation and competition, as the pace of companies going global accelerates, uncertainties and unpredictable factors have also significantly increased, and the demand for high-quality comprehensive overseas services is becoming increasingly urgent," said Wang Guannan. According to CCPIT data, since 2024, CCPIT has relied on its overseas offices and more than 394 global bilateral mechanisms for industrial and commercial cooperation to carry out the "Thousand Enterprises Going Global" initiative to serve enterprises. In 2024, a total of 2,249 groups visited and negotiated in 102 countries and regions, equivalent to an average of six enterprise groups going abroad for business negotiations every day.
