Deputy Minister of Transport Li Yang: Transportation fixed assets amounted to 2.26 trillion yuan in the first eight months of the year.

On September 28, Li Yang, Deputy Minister of Transport, stated at a press conference of the State Council Information Office that fixed asset investment in transportation is operating at a high level. From January to August, the transportation sector completed fixed asset investment of 2.26 trillion yuan, including railway investment of 504.1 billion yuan, highway investment of 1.5412 trillion yuan, waterway investment of 143.3 billion yuan, and civil aviation investment of 70.7 billion yuan.
