On September 27, 2025, the National Industrial Software Conference was held in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. The conference was organized by the Chinese Automation Society and focused on the theme "Smart Drive, New Quality". It brought together nearly a thousand representatives from universities, research institutes, and industry sectors to explore the path of independent innovation and industrial development of industrial software. The conference released the "China Automation Technology Development Report" and the "China Automation Industry Development Report". The "China Automation Technology Development Report" presented the hardcore strength of automation technology, focusing on 23 key directions in the three core areas of industrial process automation, equipment automation, and common key technologies, to take the pulse of the industry's current situation and lead the way for future directions. The "China Automation Industry Development Report" analyzed the core product ecosystem of automation from all dimensions, empowering key industries of the national economy to transition to intelligence, and leading innovation breakthroughs in equipment automation. Additionally, the conference also released the first intelligent smelting large model for the non-ferrous metal smelting industry in China, allowing AI to understand industrial language, master metallurgical thinking, accurately control the entire production chain, and create a new paradigm of intelligent control industrial applications from "able to talk" to "able to do".
